We are delighted to announce that Abraxas Catering has been nominated for the distributor of the year in the category ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ at the Catering Insight Awards 2019.  Mike Nixon, Sales Director said “As a company we are always working towards ways to be more efficient and environmentally aware, and our scrap metal recycling scheme is just one way we can do this, and raise much needed funds for our nominated charity, Midlands Air Ambulance”  and through different fundraising events held, and our scrap metal recycling scheme, we are proud to support and have raised much needed funds during 2018 and 2019 for the MAAC”.

Recycling is perhaps one of the easiest, and yet most effective ways of making our plant a greener place. There are initiatives set up all across the world to reuse and recycle just about everything, and with this in mind, it is very clear that tackling the levels of waste we send to landfill sites is essential for a cleaner and healthier planet.
