Paisley Flour Catering picked up the #SBS (Small Business Sunday) Twitter Award from Theo Paphitis at the winner’s conference on the 3rd February held at the International Conference Centre, Birmingham.
Paisley Flour Catering in Bewdley has won the Small Business Sunday (#SBS) Twitter Award from ex Dragons Den star Theo Paphitis after tweeting him on the 22nd January.This resulted in a retweet from Theo to over 500,000 followers on the 23rd January.
Owner, Emma Passey says ‘My team and I are very proud to win this award. It’s given my company a huge boost to our Twitter account, with support from fellow #SBS winners. We’ve recently launched a brand new website alongside our promotional video featuring brief extracts of events we’ve covered throughout 2016.”
Growing up with an interest in cooking and creating her own dinner parties for family, Emma learnt the basics of simple and delicious food from her two grandmothers. Having been a chef for over 15 years, she launched Paisley Flour Catering in 2012 to input personality and style into the food she serves: “I am a massive believer in ‘you eat with your eyes first’ so it’s equally important for me to make sure it looks as good as it tastes!”
Theo set up the SBS initiative in 2010 to help support small businesses. He said ‘I admire people who have passion and energy. I have been lucky in business and I am keen now to spread goodwill to others’.
