A thriving Worcestershire accountancy group has announced the appointment of a new director to its board as it focuses on further growth this year.
Respected Chartered Accountant and tax planning expert Tom Casey has been promoted from his client manager role at Redditch and Worcester-based Hayward Wright Chartered Accountancy Group.
Mr Casey, 28, joined the county firm in December 2016, and will continue to manage and advise a portfolio of over 200 clients, on top of further day-to-day management responsibility as part of the company’s senior leadership team.
Managing Director Alistair Hayward-Wright said: “Tom is an exceptional talent and has been a key a part of our team over the past few years.
“His promotion is fully deserved. He has not only contributed to our commercial success and growth, but given first-rate and consistent advice to our clients time and time again.”
Tom Casey added: “Since joining Alistair and the team, I have enjoyed being part of a growing, successful and forward-thinking business.
“Joining the firm’s senior team is a fantastic opportunity and will allow me to play more of a central role in the direction of Hayward Wright, but also continuing to advise our clients on a variety of financial matters.
“It’s a really special moment for me at this stage of my career and I look forward to contributing further in the months and years ahead.”
Hayward Wright also has offices in Solihull following the 2016 acquisition of local firm, Bushell Smith Harman.
Formed by Mr Hayward-Wright in 2007, the company employs 18 people across its three sites and offers business advice, management accounts and accountancy support for clients across the West Midlands.
