The Con Club on Church Street, Great Malvern, is re-opening as an events space, following a six-month refurbishment.
The premises, which are now called Malvern Radio, have been transformed to provide a space for businesses to hold offsites, run training sessions and entertain clients.
At weekends the club will also be offering a programme of comedy and film, starting in the autumn.
Chris Winstanley, Director at Malvern Radio said “Many businesses lack the space in their own premises for critical business activities like training and company meetings. We offer a flexible space that can be hired by the hour or day”.
The club’s facilities include two separate event rooms, 80Mb broadband, full audio visual setup and a licensed bar. The event rooms combined can host events with up to 170 people.
Simon Smith, Economic Development Manager at Malvern Hills District Council commented “We are delighted that the building is being put to good use in a way that will benefit businesses and the wider community in Malvern”.
