Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Simon Rogan is giving an exclusive talk at Pershore College as part of the college’s celebration of 60 years of horticulture excellence.

Simon and his executive chef Dan Cox will visit the college on Wednesday 20 May at 7.30pm, for their talk “A Growing Partnership”. Pershore College currently supplies Simon’s Michelin-starred restaurant Fera at Claridges with a range of high-quality edible crops, including microveg, leaves and edible flowers, and Simon and Dan’s talk will discuss the challenges of growing perfect produce and the importance of a ‘growing’ partnership.

Simon, who also runs the two Michelin-starred L’Enclume, has featured on BBC shows Restaurant Wars and the Great British Menu.

The talk is free to attend, however booking is required at www.warwickshire.ac.uk/events.

Other events lined up as part of the summer season celebrations include:

  • David Domoney, gardener and broadcaster visits the college on Saturday 6 June from 2-3pm to give his talk “Confessions of a TV Gardener”. This Morning gardening expert David will talk about how he is inspiring future generations in the horticultural industry and what Pershore College used to be like through the eyes of an ex-student
  • In July the college is opening its doors to local residents across the Vale of Evesham. At the Tour and Taste on Wednesday 8 July from 7-8.30pm, guests will have the opportunity to tour the college and grounds and uncover 60 years of history, Pershore’s future ambitions and finally a chance to sample the college’s high-quality products
