RGS Worcester has won a place in the final of the Chamber of Commerce’s Business Awards. The school has won through to the final of the category ‘Best Use of Technology to Improve your Business’ with its Digital Learning Programme which has seen iPads become an integral part of teaching and learning at RGS, transforming the classroom experience.
The awards ceremony will be held at West Midlands Safari Park on Thursday 11 June and is hosted by Howard Bentham of BBC Hereford and Worcester. Four hundred invited guests will take part in the Chamber’s 14th awards ceremony which usually only sees traditional business entries. The School has also won a place in the National Chamber of Commerce awards which will take place later in the year.
John Pitt, Headmaster said, “iPad technology is transforming teaching and learning at RGS Worcester. We are delivering the future, now and we are delighted that the Chamber of Commerce has recognised this significant advance, particularly in a competition traditionally viewed as a ‘business’ forum.”
