Leading Worcestershire based software company Rimilia who specialise in providing intelligent financial management software solutions to global blue chip brands has been working to help renowned recruitment provider Adecco to improve efficiency of their cash allocation systems.
The nature of the recruitment sector often comprises of short and long term assignments across specialist brands which ultimately results in a large volume of invoices, payments receipts and also complex remittance advices all of which take time to reconcile in the sales ledger. Rimilia were faced with such a challenge in Adecco, and worked in partnership with the team there to automate the cash allocation process to enable all payment receipts to be allocated within day of receipt. Using the award winning cash automation software Alloc8.
As a direct result of this implementation overall efficiency has been improved by 70% and the Adecco Accounts Receivable team now benefit from an up to date sales ledger which allows them to focus on overdue debt rather than reconciliation of cash on account with customers. Alloc8 also helps to provide the team with information which enables compliance with anti-money laundering regulation and recent government legislation backing faster payment processing in the UK.
Head of Credit for Adecco UK, Martin Kirby commented;
“Without fail we now get all cash accurately allocated on the day of receipt and can easily cope with the monthly peaks in cash receipts. It has been a massive success for us”.
Since starting in 2008, Rimilia has progressed to receive a number of industry awards recognising the innovative nature of its solutions and has successfully grown to having a prestigious global client base with operations extending to Europe and America.
Rimilia Group Managing Director, Chris McGibbon commented
