The Skills for Tomorrow 2015 event will bring together expertise from the University of Worcester and local businesses to provide a highly engaging, interactive opportunity for KS3 pupils to learn about the growing career opportunities in a low carbon, environmentally sustainable economy of the future.
Skills for Tomorrow for KS3 (Years 7, 8 & 9). The event will take place on the 4th and 5th of June, Riverside building, Hylton Road, Worcester WR2 5JN.
You can contribute to the success of Skills for Tomorrow by taking free space in the exhibition hall and providing engaging displays and accessible activities to explain about your sustainable business practices. The exhibition hall will be built around a ‘meet the professionals’ theme and the visiting students will be encouraged to;
•Visit all the companies to find out about their approaches to sustainable business practices;
•Learn about the range of roles played in each of the companies so that they gain insight into potential career opportunities linked to sustainability.
If you are interested in contributing to this award winning event, and to benefit from advice and support about adapting any of your commercial exhibition resources, do get in touch with Katy Boom Director of Sustainability to discuss how you could participate.
