The Worcester Carnival parade will start again this year from Pitchcroft at 3pm and follow the same route as last year.

This year’s Carnival will be supporting two charities, Worcester Snoezelen and West Mercia Rape and Abuse Centre.

The theme of the parade is ‘Books’ and a children’s competition to design a book cover will be launching soon, please encourage your children and school to get involved.

A children’s funfair is planned on Pitchcroft along with stalls and entertainment on the big stage.  A number of sporting events are also planned including the annual Versatility Netball Tournament at Nunnery Wood High School on the 9thJune and the football tournament on the morning of the Carnival.
